Se trata del collarín perfecto a la hora de restringir los movimientos de cabeza y cuello, así como limitar la flexo-extensión y, en menor grado, la rotación del segmento cervical. Este collarín conduce la transmisión de las cargas hacia el tronco. Así mismo, disminuye la presión sobre los discos intervertebrales y equilibra la cabeza.
