How to use a stockings or socks shoehorn in 10 comfortable steps?
1. Sit on a firm surface and place the side edges of the flexible plastic shoehorn facing each other to form an open tilted tube.
2. With the edge of the cord facing the ground and the open side of the tube facing the body, keep the shoehorn in a firm position between the knees.
3. Roll up the stockings keeping your fingers inside the garment.
4. Align the heel of the garment with the outer curvature of the shoehorn and pull the garment over the end of the garment.
5. Keep pulling the garment until the shoehorn is inside it.
6. Make sure that the shoehorn reaches the finger of the garment and that the rolled part of the garment does not exceed the edge of the shoehorn.
7. Make sure that the heel of the garment is on the curved part of the shoehorn.
8. Keep grasping the cords, one on each side of the leg, while lowering the shoehorn to the ground. Make sure that the heel of the garment is down.
9. Keep the heel firmly on the floor, slide it on the foot until the toes reach the end of the garment (the movement of the toes can help the garment move into the foot).
10. Lift the heel from the floor and stretch the knee. With a slight pull of the cords, the shoehorn is released from the garment.
